Clover Flower Frills Template
Needle & thread
Scrap fabric (cotton or silk is best- lightweight & crisp, nothing thick or heavy)
This is what the template looks like. You fold the fabric in between and the number will match up.
With the fabric folded over, fold the template across the middle where the number 1 is.
Fold inward, matching up the number 2s.
Fold over again, matching up the number 3s.
Holding the template at the end, cut around the top. Be careful not to cut into the template.
Thread a long piece of string through a needle. Insert the needle through the triangle of fabric at the end of the template. Once the needle is through, you can remove them template.
Keep stringing your petals along. You'll need about 20 to make a nice, full flower.
Pull the ends of the string gently to gather the petals together.
Tie a few knots to secure.
